Tour: Hazard Perception
In addition to the Multiple Choice Questions element of the driving theory test, the second element of the test contains hazard perception videos. In that section of the test, you'll be presented with 14 different video clips and you will need to identify the hazards.
In order to familiarise yourself with the hazard perception process, it is important to take a look at some sample clips and see how you do at identifying the hazards. We have eight hazard perception clips for you to practice against. The source material for these is provided by the DSA (the actual clips that appear in the tests are never released). It is not permitted by the DSA for any site to display more than 10 clips at a time.
Our unique Flash player tool will allow you to play through each of the video clips. Simply click when you think you see a hazard, and the software will display a flag on the timeline where you clicked. At the end of the clip, we'll automatically calculate and display your total score for that question. In addition you can view a solution clip that circles the hazard, providing a comprehensive hazard perception experience to help familiarise yourself with what you can expect in the actual hazard perception test.
